FAQ

I'm not sure what to expect from my session. I'm not a model and I don't really know how to pose.

Don't worry! This is typically the case. A big part of my job is to help you pose and feel comfortable in front of the camera. Don't worry if you're a little camera-shy. I strive to make my sessions fun, relaxed and educational (as you are welcome to use the posing tips for the rest of your life! Haha!) I want nothing more than for you to feel at ease and have a great time! Leave it to me to get your best angles. :)

What are the benefits of receiving the high resolution images?

Gaining access to the high-resolution images means that you can print your own photos. I still do offer printing services if you would like me to have them professionally printed for you.

Can I still purchase albums, canvases, etc?

Yes, absolutely! You would receive a URL and a password that will allow you to sign into my online store/your online gallery, and do everything from there! It’s super easy and fun!

Are the images that we receive edited?

Yes! And oh how I love this process. I go through each selected image and edit it until I’m satisfied with the finished product. If there are any specific changes that you would like, you are welcome to let me know ahead of time.

How many images will we receive?

This depends on the package you choose. My average minimum for weddings is approximately 37 selected/edited images per hour.

I’m not so sure we want/need the engagement session, can we omit it from the package?

Before I answer that question, are you sure? Engagement sessions can be a lot of fun and it gives me a chance to connect with you guys so we can start our super-fantastic photo journey together! Plus, you can do cool things with them like use them in your invitations or wedding sign-in book. But, if you really aren't interested in having one, sure, you can omit it. :)

Do you work with a second shooter?

I do and I place a lot of importance on image consistency and everyone has the right to their own style. I only hire second shooters whose work assimilates well with mine.

Do we need a second shooter for our wedding?

That’s totally up to you! You don’t need one, but it can certainly be beneficial to have one. More cameras mean more photos! You can choose how many hours of coverage you would them to cover.

I have more questions but they aren’t posted here.

That’s awesome because I would be more than happy to answer them! Call or send me an e-mail. I would love to hear from you! :)
